Responsibilities:
Leadership & Operations:
- Oversee daily operations of the Rooms Division, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of Front Desk, Housekeeping, Concierge, and Guest Services.
- Ensure exceptional guest service is consistently delivered, creating memorable experiences for all guests.
- Manage room availability, reservations, and room assignments to optimize occupancy and revenue.
- Monitor and address guest feedback to resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
Financial & Operational Management:
- Drive profitability by managing room revenue, cost control, and departmental budgets.
- Implement and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Director of Rooms to set and monitor financial goals, ensuring the team meets budget and profit expectations.
- Oversee room cleanliness, maintenance, and quality standards to maintain the hotel’s reputation for excellence.
Team Management & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team, including Front Desk agents, Housekeeping staff, and other Rooms Division personnel.
- Oversee hiring, training, and performance evaluations in alignment with HR protocols.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment, ensuring that all team members are motivated to deliver top-tier service.
- Ensure adherence to all hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Strategic Execution & Collaboration:
- Work closely with senior leadership to ensure the Rooms Division aligns with the hotel’s overall business strategy and goals.
- Maintain effective communication with other departments, including Food & Beverage, Sales, and Maintenance, to ensure the smooth operation of hotel services.
- Contribute to the development and execution of strategies aimed at improving guest experience, operational efficiency, and revenue.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Assistant Director of Rooms, Rooms Division Manager, or in a similar leadership role within luxury hospitality, with at least 5 years of experience in hotel operations.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
- In-depth knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk management, housekeeping, and guest services.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
- Exceptional guest service and communication skills, with a commitment to maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, luxury environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and systems.
